From Our Collection
Handsworth / Birmingham Dairies XOG 847
1958 Wales & Edwards 15 cwt long-wheelbase Milk Truck

Reg No: XOG 847
Operator: Handsworth / Birmingham Daries
Chassis: 15 cwt Long Wheelbase Standard Milk Truck

One of a large number of W&E 3 wheelers owned by Handsworth/Birmingham Dairies, this truck remained in service until 1976, and then found a further lease of life at the National Exhibition Centre.

Eventually purchased by the Trust in 1986, it was returned to its original appearance and repainted in the interim Birmingham Dairy Co Ltd livery style.
