Small milk trucks on four wheels were rarely found in the West Midlands so this 'baby' Morrison was obtained in 1993 from the little fleet of D O Jones of Oulton Broad in Suffolk, trading as Ivy Farm Dairy.

Glass fibre cabs and bodies had become commonplace by the early 1960s and this is a typical product of Leicester-based Morrison-Electricar for this small design. Co-operative Retail Services bought many and ERO 620B ran around Letchworth in Hertfordshire from new in 1964 until bought by Ivy Farm Dairy in 1980.

Preservation

A chance visit to Ivy Farm Dairy and its 10-strong fleet in Spring 1993 led to an unusual holiday souvenir. ERO 620B was soon to retire and it was purchased in June on account of its largely original condition. The holiday souvenir soon revealed why it had been retired and there was plenty of rotten chassis to deal with. It was totally restored into the Ivy Farm Dairy livery in 1994-5, its dark green colour an agreeable contrast in our collection.
