Take the kids out for a day in the countryside. They'll just love riding on the miniature steam railway and the old buses. Then, the 'Kids Kabin' area is just outside the cafe, perfect to occupy the younger kids while you enjoy a cup of tea. Inside the kabin you'll find all sorts of play things including a wooden railway, colouring and activity sheets, toys and building bricks.

Outside in the Picnic Area by the bus station there are Little Tykes Activity Gyms plus Ernie the Milk Float where kids can sit and play in the cab and use their creativity to decorate the sides with a lovely chalk picture, the perfect photo opportunity too!  We recently added the 'Kenville' model village and model train with more interactive fun for the kids.  A little further down the road, by the AA box there's the entry to the "secret garden", a place to sit and watch the trains go by.

The Power Hall also has several interactive exhibits, including a bus cab with authentic sounds, steering wheel and destination blind. We also provide a range of activity sheets to keep kids of all ages occupied.

For the very young, we have a nursing mothers station and nappy change facilities.
